There and Back Again across Yucatan

In October 2023, in the heart of a lost civilization for which the calendar and astronomy were the core of beliefs and myths, there was a ring of fire – an annular solar eclipse. This is my first eclipse expedition after the break caused by COVID. At the same time, another successful one – the weather and people were good. The Mayan ruins were an inspiration, the secret underground rivers were a respite, and the nature was dizzying.
