Iceland Total Solar Eclipse of 2026

In 2026 Moon Shadow will catch up with the Sun over northern Atlantic with eclipse visible from northern Spain and western Iceland. I am taking a long shot considering the weather but since one of the regions it should be visible from are Westfjords this is where I am heading.

Northern Lights on Baltic Tour 2024

18 days out of which a full week in Vesterlaen – the still wild and undiscovered kin of famous (and overcrowded) Lofoten we spent driving around Baltic sea crossing Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany. Memorable adventure with raindeer, rocket launches and Northern Lights.

Maya and Annular Solar Eclipse of 2023

In 2023 Moon Shadow almost covered the Sun creating a ring of fire over Yukatan – and we chose Uxmal’s Pyramid of the Sorcerer as the perfect companion to this unique event. In almost 20 days we visited lost Maya cities, dined on the best shrimps in the world and scuba dived the reefs.
