Iceland and the Faroe Islands – five weeks in the trunk

2 June 2023 @ 17:00 - 18:30

Hurry Up!

You can’t miss the meeting with Tomasz Czarnecki, who will tell you about the extraordinary expedition ICELAND AND THE FAROE ISLANDS – five weeks in the trunk. The photos and videos that we will see during the lecture will delight not only photographers, but also travelers.

We invite you to an extraordinary lecture and multimedia presentation by Tomasz Czarnecki “Iceland and the Faroe Islands – five weeks in the trunk”.

Tomasz Czarnecki is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology and the Louisiana State University, where he studied photography under the direction of A.J. Meek, Thomas Neff and Steven Booke. Infected with the mania of traveling and photography by his father, he has been hunting solar eclipses, erupting volcanoes and beautiful landscapes for years, both on his own and by organizing landscape photography workshops. Tomasz Czarnecki’s photos have been presented at dozens of international exhibitions and published in “Creative Light” and “Digital Camera”.

“When the Geldingadalir volcano erupted in Iceland two years ago and at the same time pandemic restrictions were ending, it was finally possible to get out. The first trip with my son was short, far too short – so this year we converted the car so that you could sleep comfortably in it and set off on a trip that lasted almost seven weeks, during which we spent 4 weeks in Iceland and a week in the islands Faroese” – says the traveler and photographer.

We invite you to an exciting meeting combined with a multimedia presentation.
