In the second half of July, I invite you tojoin me for a two-week trip, during which you will have the opportunity to visit not only the most famous US national parks: Yellowstone National Park and Grand Canyon National Park but also the iconic and my favorite: Escalante Grand Staircase, Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands and finally, the Olympic National Park. We will start the journey in the geological heart of Utah – Kanab, from where we will visit the national parks of Bryce and Zion, while trying our luck in the lottery to enter famous Wave. From here, we will head northeast to admire rock arches, bridges, canyons, and finally a geologically very lively north – Yellowstone geysers as well as volcanoes of Mt Reinier and Mt. Helens. For dessert, leaving probably the most unusual park where in rainforest valley grows the world’s largest pine and spruce, where tidal beaches you can watch sea anemones and starfish and whose peaks crown the Olympic glaciers.
The expedition can be combined with US 2019 Southwest- Photographic expedition.

In the first half of July, I invite You for a two-week trip, during which You will have the opportunity to visit my favorite city of USA – San Francisco – including Downtown and such landmarks as Golden Gate Bridge and the Muir Woods. Then we set off east through Yosemite to the ghost town of Bodie, above the amazing Mono Lake. Crossing Death Valley we enter crazy city of Las Vegas. From there we take the famous Route 66 which we will follow to Grand Canyon National Park. After looking at the geological history, we will take a closer look at the history of the indigenous people of America: Hopi, Navajo and ancient ones – Anasazi in the only historical National Park in USA – Chaco Culture. On the way, we will not miss the Monument Valley nor Antelope Canyon. Only to complete the journey in the geological heart of Utah – Kanab, where we will visit the national parks of Bryce and Zion, while trying our luck in the lottery to enter the famous Wave.
The expedition can be combined with US 2019 Northwest – Photographic expedition.
Note that all open slots for this year’s USA Grand Tour photo-expedition have been reserved. We hope to see you next year!
Important! The photo expedition USA 2018 has changed to the Grand Tour USA 2018 – instead of three weeks beginning in Salt Lake City and a stay at the end in New York, we decided to extend the trip by one week, dropping New York altogether. Grand Tour will begin in Seattle giving us opportunity to visit Olympic ant Mr Rainier National Parks in addition to all points of interest from original plan.
We will also stop at Mt. St. Helen’s National Monument, site of famous volcanic eruption and Moses Coulee, unusual canyon bearing witness to catastrophic flooding at the end of last ice age. From there we proceed to Yellowstone and except for not going to New York at the very end all points of interest remain the same as in original itinerary.
We depart on June 29th returning four weeks later. Please note there are just few last places left.
Tomasz Czarnecki invites you to join him on exploration of the most stunning landscapes of western USA. During almost four weeks we will visit not only National Parks and Monuments – such as Yellowstone, Grand Canyon or Archers but also many places which are less known, but at least as amazing. We will also touch the history and culture of native peoples of America.
