This map is more than a collection of places. It is a record of journeys already completed, destinations explored with a camera in hand and ideas for adventures still waiting ahead. Some of these locations I have visited many times, others only once under extraordinary circumstances, and some are destinations I am currently planning and dreaming about.
Over the years my travels have led me from solar eclipses in Mexico, Australia and China, through Icelandic volcanoes and highland roads, to the slot canyons and deserts of the American Southwest, the geothermal landscapes of New Zealand and countless corners of Europe. Along the way I have photographed landscapes, people, astronomical events and places that often lie far beyond ordinary tourist routes.
Every destination on this map tells a story. Some are stories of successful expeditions and perfect light. Others are stories of difficult weather, unexpected encounters and plans that had to change along the way. Together they form an ongoing journey driven by curiosity, photography and the simple joy of discovering how diverse and beautiful our planet can be.
