DESCRIPTION:I invite you to explore together the most beautiful and wildest places in the northwestern United States of America. I have been exploring these areas photographically for twenty years and I still can’t get enough of it. If you want to experience a unique adventure\, wander through wild deserts\, squeeze through narrow crevices and come face to face with the geological wonders of the Earth\, I invite you. \nIn the second half of July\, we invite you to a two-week trip during which you will have the opportunity to visit the most famous national parks in the USA: Yellowstone National Park\, Grand Canyon National Park\, but also the iconic ones\, and my favorites: Escalante Grand Staircase\, Capitol Reef\, Arches\, Canyonlands and finally Olympic National Park. However\, we will start the journey in the geological heart of Utah – Kanab\, from where we will go to Bryce and Zion national parks\, while trying our luck in the Wave lottery. From here we will head northeast to admire rock arches\, bridges\, canyons\, and finally the geologically very lively north – Yellowstone geysers\, Mt Reinier volcanoes and Mount St. Helena. For dessert\, perhaps the most extraordinary park\, where the world’s largest pines and spruces grow\, on whose tidal beaches you can see anemones and starfish\, and whose peaks are crowned with glaciers – Olympic. \nThe expedition can be combined with the “Wild West – USA 2020 – southern states – Photography expedition” (then it will last 4 weeks) \n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nIn shortRoute MapProgram\nDeadline:\nJuly 13 – July 31 \nCost: \n\nfor 2 people – USD 2\,895/person + USD 1\,750/person (estimated cost of air tickets)\nfor 3 people – USD 2\,395/person + USD 1\,750/person (estimated cost of air tickets)\nfor 4 – 7 people – USD 2\,295/person + USD 1\,750/person (estimated cost of air tickets)\nfor 8 people – USD 2\,195/person + USD 1\,750/person (estimated cost of air tickets)\nfor 9 people – USD 2\,095/person + USD 1\,750/person (estimated cost of air tickets)\nfor 10 people – USD 2\,045/person + USD 1\,750/person (estimated cost of air tickets)\nfor 11 people – USD 1\,995/person + USD 1\,750/person (estimated cost of air tickets)\nfor 12 people – USD 1\,895/person + USD 1\,750/person (estimated cost of air tickets)\n\nGroup and accommodation: \n\nFrom 2 to 12 participants\, accommodation in motels and hotels\, in 2-\, 3- or 4-person rooms or apartments.\nThe program below lists the accommodations we have booked – however\, depending on the size of the group and the availability of better accommodation\, the final list will be established approximately 30 days before the planned departure.\n\nThe costs of the expedition cover the costs of all accommodations along the route in verified hotels\, motels and apartments in 2-\, 3- and 4-person rooms\, entry costs to National and State Parks\, as well as the attractions listed below during the joint expedition. DESCRIPTION:We start the 2023 season with an adventure in Iceland. This extraordinary island is a paradise for nature lovers – volcanoes\, waterfalls\, lava fields and hot springs … There\, everyone falls ill with Icelandic fever – its symptoms are primarily the need to return to this wild country. \nHurry Up!\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\nAt a glanceRoute mapProgram\nDate: June 17 – July 2\, 2023 Group closed! If you are interested in this or a similar route\, please contact us to organize the trip at a different time. \nCost: USD 3\,500/person + about USD 400/person (estimated cost of air tickets) \nGroup and accommodation: From 2 to 4 participants\, accommodation on campsites. \nThe costs of the expedition cover the costs of all accommodation along the route as well as the attractions during the joint expedition. Also the cost of renting and insurance of a car adapted to the size of the group and fuel. \nThe cost does not include meals\, souvenirs and tips\, optional attractions or travel insurance.\n\n \n\ndates – June 17 – July 2\, 2023 \nImportant – the plan below is the maximum version. The weather in Iceland is extremely changeable and can change your plans. \n1 Day \nFlight from Katowice (or other city – to be agreed) to Keflavik in Iceland. Transfer and overnight at Strandakirkja campsite \n2nd day \nDrive to Þingvellir National Park on the northern shore of Iceland’s largest lake\, Þingvallavatn. On the way we will stop at the Kerid crater. At Þingvellir Park\, walk between the continental plates to Oxarfoss waterfall. From here we head to the Hraunafossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. Overnight at Grundarfjörður camping. \n3rd day \nSnæfellsnes peninsula tour. We will start the day with the iconic view of Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall\, we will approach Bæjarfoss waterfall. Then we will photograph the Ingjaldshólskirkja church. Continue on to the volcanic crater of Saxholl and the black Djúpalónssandu beach surrounded by amazing lava sculptures. We will admire the volcanic cliffs of Londragar and Gattlekur. If we have enough strength\, we will look into the Rauðfeldsgjá canyon. Before we reach the Sturungalaug hot spring\, lost among the lava fields\, we will still be able to admire the Bjarnafoss waterfall and look for seals on Ytri Tunga beach. Overnight at a campsite in Reykhollar. \n4th day \nWe reach the western fjords of the Westfjords. Depending on our desire\, we may reach the westernmost cliffs with puffins – Latrabjarg. However\, the most beautiful attraction of the day will be the Dynjandi waterfall along with the cascades of Háifoss\, Úðafoss\, Göngufoss\, Hundafoss and Bæjarfoss. Overnight at Bolungarvik campsite. \n5th day \nExploration continues in the Wetsjords – Minnibakki beach\, Valagil waterfall and the historic Littlebaer cafe. Overnight at Skagastrond campsite. \n6th day \nAhead of us is the first – the easiest F-ka\, i.e. the road through the Icelandic interior. Along the F35 we will admire the geothermal areas of Hveravelir and Kerlingarfjöll. Then we will reach another of the most fabulous waterfalls – Gullfoss. The Strokkur geyser will shoot up into the sky nearby. Before going to the overnight stay in Gaddstadaflatir\, we will soak in the perfect water of the Hrunalaug hot spring. \n7th day \nWe start the day with Seljalandsfoss waterfalls and neighboring Gljufrabui. Then\, walk deep into the amazing Nauthúsagil slot canyon and continue to Iceland’s largest canyon\, Stakkholtsgjá. From here we will reach the black beaches of Dyrholaey and in Vik n Myrdle turn north on the F208 leading towards the Hekla volcano to the rainbow mountains of Landlammaguar. Overnight at Landlammaguar campsite. \n8th day \nTrekking in the Landlammaguar Rainbow Mountains. Overnight at Landlammaguar campsite. \n9th day \nWe leave F208 Landlammaguar heading north on the F27 to Hrafnabjargafoss and Aldeyarfoss waterfalls. Overnight at Laugar campsite. \n10 days \nIn the morning we will stop at another unique waterfall\, Goddafoss. From here we will circle the volcanic lake Mytvn\, stopping for a walk through the lunar landscape of the Skútustaðagígar crater field\, a short trek among Lavator Dimmuborgir lava formations. If we have enough strength and willingness\, we will climb the Hvefjall crater. We will definitely visit the Grjotagja lava tunnel\, then the smoking Hverir field and the unusual Viti crater. From here\, only the most powerful waterfalls in Europe – Detifoss\, Selfoss and Hefragilfoss. Overnight at Möðrudalur campsite. \n11th day \nWe will take the roads F908\, F910 and F894 to reach Aksja crate and on the way back we will stop for a swim at the hot Laugavallalaug waterfall. Just a walk to the second highest crater in Iceland – Hengifoss (the charming Litlanesfoss on the way) and along Lake Lagarfljót we will reach the eastern fjords of Iceland for camping in Seydisfjordur. \n12th day \nTransfer to Borgarfjarðurhofnvegur where you can approach the puffins for a meter. Then drive to the Klifbrekku waterfall. Overnight at Stöðvarfjörður camping. \n13th day \nDrive through the beautiful fjords to Vestrahorn and the Hoffel Glacier. Overnight at Myllulækur campsite. \n14th day \nA day with glaciers and ice lagoons – Jokulsarlon\, diamond beach\, Fjalsarlon and Kvíárjökull. Overnight at Tjaldsvæðið Kleifar camping. \n15th day \nin the morning\, as an option\, a trip to Katla ice cave\, then transfer to Keflavik where in the evening we fly back to Poland. \nday 16 \nArrival to Katowice at 2 am. \n\n\n\nAttention! The expedition is not a tourist event\, but an invitation to a joint photographic adventure with Tomasz Czarnecki\, a photographer\, globetrotter and a man who has been exploring the world and chasing solar eclipses for over 30 years.
